Job Description
- Responsible for proofreading and editing various written content types for clarity, grammar, punctuation, editorial accuracy, consistency, tone of voice and writing style both in English and Arabic
- Provides written content with readers and audience in mind, and conducts interviews when needed.
- Create a guideline for editorial standards to be used by the writing team.
- Spotting the trending topics uncovering newsworthy stories.
Job Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a editing, copy editing, and journalism environment is required.
- BA in Mass Communication, Journalism, English Literature or similar is a plus.
- Perfect English language, written and spoken.
- Familiar with the basics of marketing, SEO best practices and managing a website's content. (experience is a plus)
- Tactful positive team player.
