Job Description
- We are looking for "Arabic Content Writer" to join Rehlat’s team and enrich our websites with new blog posts, guides and marketing copy.
- Basically, you’ll deliver quality writing articles that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.
- Trans-creating may also be part of the job, which is a mix of translation, localization and copywriting, where the text is culturally and linguistically adapted to suit the reader.
Responsibilities
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Submit work to editors for input and approval
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Update website content as needed
Job Requirements
- BSc in Marketing, Journalism or related field
- Fluency in English
- A good understanding and in-depth knowledge of language/country-specific cultures, known as localization
- Proven work experience as Arabic Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role-preferred to be in travel industry
- Excellent writing skills and command of grammar
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in Arabic
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Ability to meet deadlines
