Art Teacher

Main Duties:

• Bring their knowledge and talent into the classroom where they can introduce children to art in its many forms and traditions.
• Work with children at all levels to encourage and assist them to express themselves through art.
• Encourage creativity and teaching techniques in a variety of mediums.
• Create expressions like anger, love, hurt or joy.
• Ensure the safety in handling the art materials.
• Plan a comprehensive curriculum, order and inventory supplies.
• Maintains a clean and safe children's work space
• Demonstrate their understanding of various arts, their own talent to create and the ability to teach skills to others.
• Must also fulfill all the responsibilities and duties of a classroom teacher and maintaining order in the classroom.
• Perform any other tasks requested from the manager.
