Job Description

- Our company needs someone to create effective policies and procedures to ensure our manufacturing department operates at peak efficiency.
- We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager who doesn’t mind putting in long hours and working with employees to constantly improve our output.
- Production manager must ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.
Responsibilities of the job include:
- Planning and organizing production schedules
- Assessing project and resource requirements
- Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
- Determining quality control standards
- Overseeing production processes
- Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
- Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
- Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
- Liaising with buyers and marketing and sales staff
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as as a group
