Job Description

  • Prepare marketing/business plans for the assigned products, covering all promotional mix elements.
  • Ensure the implementation of the plan on the use of promotional material and messages in the field by regular follow-up with sales force.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and complete record of assigned product(s) and competitors (if possible) including the following: historical data/IMS Sales/Rx/Cx, promotional campaigns, methods and mix, product comparisons, competition profile, HCP preference and needs, promotion themes and clinical references.
  • Follow up with advertising agencies and vendors on promotion and marketing materials.
  • Train field force team on products and competitors’ knowledge.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, and make appropriate recommendations to the Sales and Marketing Director.
  • Initiate and monitor Marketing Research per product, when necessary.
  • Prepare necessary materials for cycle meetings and training courses, and conduct training if needed.
  • Prepare regular standard and non-standard reports to the Sales & Marketing Director e.g. highlight report, feedback reports, KOL visit reports and field visits reports.
  • Evaluate each product from the commercial point of view i.e. market potential, price, pack, etc…
  • Launch new products and line extensions.
  • Gather all information required to develop a complete understanding of the new product and its market including market research when necessary.
  • Analyze, filter, interpret, integrate and balance all gathered quantitative and qualitative data and information. As well as develop sales forecasts
  • Initiate product launch plans and coordinate all steps necessary to ensure a successful launch including all pre-launch marketing activities such as: initiation, development and execution of marketing plan for new products, development, distribution and coordination of assignments between various functions that are involved in new product launches, development of the promotional launch campaign, preparation and coordination and the execution of the launch meeting
  • Develop and coordinate the post-launch activities e.g. lecture tour

Job Requirements

  • Sc. in Pharmaceutical Science
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Marketing.
  • High interpersonal skills and excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good Planning and time management skills with strategic thinking and the ability to provide creative and innovative solutions.
  • Excellent command of the English language and computer skills.
