Job Description
- Supervise staff to ensure that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standards and receive all required training.
- Supervise the planning ,Warehouse ,procurement and logistics team
- Oversee all Material and finished products in and ensure that these are unloaded and stored efficiently and safely.
- Maintain regular contact with the production and packaging operations to ensure that there is effective coordination and that customer requirements are met.
- Take ownership of material planning issues that arise, including over or under delivery and take any follow up actions especially in the event of material shortages that affect production
- Ensure that material scheduling strategy and processes are in place and work effectively in order to ensure material supply meets production requirements with minimum stock levels, whilst optimizing costs
- Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning controlling inventory, warehousing, or receiving.
- Develop and implement effective stock control and audit systems to ensure that all stocks are maintained at the levels necessary to meet production requirements.
- Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors.
- Oversee the use of the warehouse to ensure the maximum use of available space and a safe, efficient and profitable operation which meets customer and business needs.
- Implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance.
Job Requirements
- Certificate in supply chain field is preferable
- A relevant technical qualification (MRP – ERP system preferable)
- At least 5 years’ experience of warehousing and Procurement and planning
- Managerial experience at least 5 years
- Age: Maximum 35 Years
- Live close to work location is preferable
- Good communication skills;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Excellent organizational skills.
