Job Description

  • ProCrew is a partner of LamasaTech (UK), an award-winning B2B technology provider, Diyafa-group (KSA), Flojics (Dubai), and a partner of Ocucon (UK),  becoming the largest provider of video analytics services. We believe that success is based on outstanding service, delivered consistently by enthusiastic and visionary people
  • The Product Owner (PO) is a member of the Agile Team responsible for defining Stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for the team.
  • The PO has a significant role in maximizing the value produced by the team and ensuring Stories meet the user’s needs and comply with the Definition of Done. For most enterprises moving to Agile, this is a new and critical role, typically translating into a full-time job, requiring one PO to support each Agile team (or, at most, two teams). This role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local team, including working with Product Management, Customers, Business Owners, and other stakeholders.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Take the lead of product as the Product Owner
  • Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
  • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
  • Manage each project’s scope and timeline
  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)
  • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
  • Help teams implement changes effectively
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Guide development teams to higher agile maturity
  • Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
  • Ensure backlog grooming takes place on a regular cadence
  • Work with team to identify capacity to ensure they can meet the deadline
  • Manage the setup, management, and iterative improvement of the Jira workflows and processes that drive delivery.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in the Product Owner role for the delivery of software or technology.
  • Experience in the setup, configuration, and ongoing optimization of Jira for efficient delivery.
  • Familiarity with software development.
  • Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks.
  • Knowledge of numerous well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Agile approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of Agile techniques and artifacts.
  • Agile certification is a plus

Necessary Skills:

  • Critical thinker with strong attention to details
  • Flexible and adaptable with proven problem-solving ability
  • Ability to find the right balance between efficient delivery and the appropriate level of process
  • Strong facilitation skills, knowledge of servant leadership, situational awareness, and conflict resolution
  • The high degree of professionalism and integrity
  • Demonstrated accountability and reliability in the quality and timeliness of work
  • Ability to work well within a team, and independently, and able to adjust to tight and changing deadlines
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for employee training and development
