Job Description

  • Being the primary point of contact for over 25 international customers in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
  • Providing high levels of sales support to international customers.
  • Liaising with the Marketing and Technical teams to ensure clients have all the support necessary for success.
  • Supporting customers at selected national and international conferences.
  • Developing the business in new territories, introducing new products to existing customers and implementing new marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare annual sales budgets and weekly forecasts , monitoring key performance indicators and setting fees; Maintaining inventory and an inventory control system;
  • Managing  the sales team targets and reporting system, action plans ; and implementing marketing and sales procedures.
  • Identify new customer prospects by following up on leads.
  • Contact new and current customers to discuss their needs and recommend products to meet those needs.
  • Explain the features of various Vet. pharmaceutical products to customers.
  • Manage all customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner, using CRM software and field-based resources.
  • Answer questions regarding pricing, availability, and delivery time.
  • Prepare sales contracts.
  • Collaborate with work colleagues to discuss selling techniques or issues.
  • Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure they're satisfied and answer questions or concerns.

Job Requirements

  • Have a strong background in the veterinary space already (e.g. CVT/DVM/Practice Manager or veterinary sales STRONGLY preferred)
  • Educated to degree level or have related work experience in the veterinary sector
  • Software skills in desktop products
  • Exceptional administration skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in an organized manner, often under pressure
  • Excellent time management, anticipation and prioritization skills
  • Tact, diplomacy and confidentiality are essential
  • Be comfortable setting up and managing a sales system/team to support them
  • Excellent level in English & Microsoft office use.
