Job Description

Your Responsibilities:
Job Purpose:

  • The Junior Trade marketing manager is the direct interface between sales teams and brand managers. He/she influences internally base business, all national launches, re-launches, promotions. The JTMM is responsible that all relevant targets such as shelving and 2nd placements as well as the development of the trade story & conceptual trade presentation.
  • S/he is a catalyst who unleashes hidden opportunities in marketing & sales and brings them to life where S/he makes business opportunities in close co-operation with relevant stakeholders by developing focused activity plans and delivering flawless execution in selected channels

Job Description

  • Implement plans that deliver growth based on consumer/ shopper insights and customer requirements
  • Implement actionable in-store solutions based on a clear understanding on shopper behaviour within the category/sub category and channel
  • Category Management working with each brand manager (planogram, promotion, merchandizing, communication) for key accounts or special projects
  • Develop effective solutions across channels working with all assets available and developing new programs when needed including in-store brand ambassadors
  • Identify category plans in-stores including range and merchandise proposals on both primary & secondary displays
  • Development and execution of trade / consumer promotions including pricing, sales estimates & operations liaison
  • Plays an integral role in NPIs starting from its LPM to its execution plan/ instore activation & results tracking
  • POS development, deployment & maintenance &/or replenishment whenever required
  • Ensure proper budget management as per the GSK ways of work & timely reporting

Job Requirements

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor in business, marketing or any related discipline
  • 3-5 years experience in trade/ shopper marketing in FMCG or Consumer Healthcare in a mulitnational organization
  • Excellent communication skills including very good command of English language
  • Excellent people/leadership skills at different levels of the organisation
  • Passion for flawless execution
