Job Description

Job purpose: to provide administrative support to Security & Armed forces Department.

Tasks:

The Admin assistant will be responsible of performing generic administrative duties as follows:

  • Assists drafting calendar of activities,
  • Generates administrative and budgetary/financial reports for the department,
  • Assists in conducting events and activities for IHL/IHRL dissemination,
  • Maintains contacts with external interlocutors
  • Ensures follow up and updates of lists and tables on different databases/platforms/software
  • Prepares paperwork and correspondence including internal & external mailing, faxes,
  • Arranges appointments for the Department within and outside the Organization,
  • Manages department’s filling and data platforms,
  • Takes minutes of meeting and drafts reports,
  • Handles confidential information and applies discretion at all times

Job Requirements

Selection requirements:

  • University degree, preferably in business administration or similar discipline,
  • At least 3 years work experience in a similar field, with good reference,
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Arabic,
  • Previous experience organizing training events for high ranking officials is an advantage,
  • Very good computer skills (MS Office applications), Experience in using collaboration tools/platforms is an advantage,

  • Flexibility, patience, diplomacy resistance to stress inherent to a "multi-tasking” job and capacity to adapt to changes,
