Warehousing Manager

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Set up Warehouse department functional strategies, policies and procedures that energize the effective work flows and promote the different development stages of the warehouse setups.
• Ensure implementation and strict adherence of GMP and GSP inside the Warehouse.
• Prepares the Warehouse department budget and control the department expenses on monthly basis to meet the company overall objectives.
• Manage warehouse & dispensing processes thus reducing the cost of materials during dispensing and storage together with supervising the productivity of the receiving areas.
• Administer inventory accuracy (physical count & systematic cycle count for all warehouses) and stock rotation by overseeing the daily analysis to C.C. variance and monthly report.
• Ensure and safeguard all materials and goods batches on identified location to match with the electronic system and handle all variances, besides managing external warehouses, where applicable.
• Coordinate specific projects of improvement to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, productivity.
• Applies the recommended processes and anticipates potential improvements of the current processes while assuring compliance with the Change Management procedures.
• Responsible for returned (Receiving & Destruction) & expired /damaged goods in accordance with the relevant company SOP's.
• Responsible for carrying out Internal Audit Programmed of W/H and dispensing areas successfully with no major issues.
• Ensure applying all Safety requirements aiming at zero injuries, via confirming all EHS awareness, and developing EHS standards whilst communicating with all relevant staff.
• OPEX management in alignment with site targets.
• Maintain CAPEX plan for the warehouse aligned with safety and quality requirements

Why You?

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in any related discpline
• Warehousing experience at multinational pharmaceutical organization
• An awareness of materials management techniques would be advantageous, such as provided by a Certification/Diploma in Production & Inventory Management through the IOM,
• Leadership skills to introduce new processes and ways of working within the organization.
• Experience in facilitating, coaching, and motivating multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence others at all levels of the organization to drive change and achieve results.
• Good understanding of the business.
• Good knowledge of lean sigma tools, techniques and a passion of their application to improve the business
• Proficiency with software applications related to the operation.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in conducting baseline study and knowledge of necessary tools.
• Excellent command of English language.
