Job Description
- Owns development/execution of overall Cloud strategy, hosting technology roadmaps, vendor selections, and private/public cloud mix. Have experience in moving applications towards a cloud-based solution.
- Accountable for the Information security function and leverage leading security standards and practices for designing future state solutions by understanding the business goals and assessing current state solutions.
- Ensures the highest levels of systems availability is maintained including the optimization.
- Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
- Oversees the design and implementation of information systems that support the infrastructure of the organization.
- Direct and support implementation of software and hardware upgrades and identify security vulnerabilities and eliminate them with strategic solutions that increase data safety.
Job Requirements
- Direct experience in AWS infrastructure, solution architecture and system administration.
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals within both the technical community and senior leadership.
- Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
- Typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.
- Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
- Good experience with AWS. Preferred AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Very good MySQL Administration Skills.
