Job Description

CrossWorkers Egypt is IT Offshoring Company. We are located in New Cairo. Our customers are European companies and we work in a long-term based model (not project based). Sales is based in our European locations.

Job summary:

You will be working with a high degree of freedom with reference to the Director for CrossWorkers Egypt Ltd. However, you will also work closely together with the Danish CEO.

You will be a cornerstone in the Cairo operation with the responsibility for the different customer Teams – often with direct contact to customers in Europe. However, you will also have the opportunity to demonstrate your managerial skills and ability continue the development of CrossWorkers Egypt Ltd.

Some travel activities to Europe must be expected.

Your personal profile:

You have senior experience within IT software development, you have a good business understanding (customer contact) and have experience in managing technical staff. You are used to working in an international environment and can work from anywhere in the world if needed.

The key words for the position are:

You have good oral and written English skills (company language) and of cause Arabic.

Responsibilities:

Your role is to secure that the organization chose the right candidates (technically) and that employees and teams are being technically developed to be in line with customer needs present and future.

It is also the role to secure that the basis of running a professional IT operation is in place – e.g. infrastructure, licenses, and methods. In some customer cases, the SDM will perform project-based work for the customers – e.g. code review, Architecture, Consultancy.

In connection with the rest of the management, you will have responsibilities within the following areas:

  • Advice to Team leaders
  • Technology coordination between Teams
  • New Technology screening
  • Internal trainings
  • Motivation

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or software engineering is a must
  • International experience
  • 1+ years of management experience preferable in the Offshoring or Outsourcing Industry.
  • On-Hands Experience in Software development industry
  • Ability to motivate staff in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast pace environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
