Job Description
- Recording environmental conditions (air temperature and humidity) inside the laboratory and make sure both readings are standardized.
- Perform calibration and maintenance activities for pressure gauges either off or onshore.
- Performs calibration for chart recorders.
- Undergoes hydro-static pressure tests for all pressure containers, tools holding pressure and safety valves either on or offshore.
- Pre-approves all related forms for all jobs related to customers like job completion certificates, delivery tickets, the job receiving the report and all technical related forms.
- Communicates with customers in terms of technical issues and handle all calibration requests from customers.
- Reviews quality of job performed in terms of handling subject equipment, labeling, and packing.
- Performs preventive and corrective maintenance for lab equipment.
Job Requirements
- At least 0-3 years experience as a service engineer.
- Ability to present the company and promote its activities.
- Understanding the work process inside the work environment.
- Computer skills: Good knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and the ability to navigate through the internet plus expressing proficiency in using company ERP
- Language ability: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior managers, colleagues, and customers.
- Reasoning ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only high standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
