Systems & Virtualization Engineer

Overview:

• This position will involve Systems Engineering tasks and duties, including Operating systems management, Including MS Windows and Linux, plus a good knowledge of Unix OS, and other IT systems products, design solutions architecture, good knowledge of Virtualization and cloud computing, aware of Datacenter Design, component and tiering systems.
• Present and perform POC for Different infrastructure technologies, respond to RFPs, and Bids, technical writing skills, good knowledge of ISO 20001 and ITIL framework.
• Implement an ITSM solution.
• Perform IT assessment to our customer's network and Data Center based on their regulations and requirements.
• The position required presentable personnel that he can conduct presentation and demo and work closely with the sales team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to troubleshoot Servers and other DC equipment
• Strong ability is required to work independently and remotely when troubleshooting and must also have the ability to solve problems with minimal client input and expertise to escalate when a solution is not readily apparent.
• Engage vendor for Maintenance Contract Renewals processing when needed.
• Perform specific tasks relating to Presales for IT and systems and infrastructure solutions
• Strong ability to lead the team and has a good knowledge of cloud, Storage, Monitoring solutions.
• Investigate systems related incidents, collect and preserve evidence
• Assess Infrastructure services and Data Center controls
• Create solution design and write-up based on customer requirements and RFPs
• Support AOT applications and DB teams related to their security requirements
• Awareness of Linux/Unix and open sources security solutions.
