Finance Manager
Alexandria, Egypt
- Caduceus Lane is hiring a professional Finance Manager, who will be responsible for managing all aspects of the finance function, including ensuring that income and expenditure are properly managed. The Finance Manager will report directly to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities
- Overall coordination, management, and delivery of the business plan, in addition to drafting, monitoring and assessing the financial aspects of the business and development plans across the organization
- Advising on the proper allocation of resource, and reviewing the monthly and annual budgets
- Preparing and reviewing the detailed budget for approval by the Managing Director, as well as preparing regular reports on income, expenditure and any deviation from budgets
- Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation, and providing financial advice and information when needed
- Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
- Developing and maintaining external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, bankers and statutory organizations such as the national tax authority
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or a relevant field
- Proven experience in a relevant field
- In-depth knowledge of financial software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and/or word processing required. Packages include: Microsoft Outlook, Access, Excel and Word plus university-specific accounting & reporting packages
- Fluency in the English language
- Professional flexibility to meet changing business needs
- Outstanding time management, planning, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Commercial and business awareness, sound analytical approach, and investigative nature
- Commitment to ethical behavior
- Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and make decisions within job scope
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask without supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Management, Accountancy, and Finance, Business Economics, or a related field is preferred
- BSc/BA in Business Administration is a plus
Candidate background
- Demonstrated experience as a Finance Manager
- Experience in managing a finance unit including people management
- Healthcare industry background is a plus
