Service Delivery is all about making sure our technical solutions help clients fulfil their priorities, challenges and initiatives. As trusted advisors, we build in-depth knowledge of what each client wants to achieve. Then we make sure the services delivered by Dell deliver on all our promises. We also work closely with Sales and Global Services colleagues to develop strategic account growth plans, and to identify and pursue sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

An opportunity exists to join Dell EMC’s Managed Service Organization. Managed Services is a growing service within Dell Technologies. We provide high quality service to support our core products. The role would be supporting a leading car manufacturer. Working with a number of different platforms, your role would be to ensure that the day to day operations and Service Level Agreements are met. We are also looking for people who think outside the box and have a proactive attitude.

  • Assist in managing and supporting the customer’s storage environment (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
  • Performs necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with Dell EMC and customer's change management policies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assists in implementing delivery management process improvements
  • Must participate in on-call activities

Job Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Technical college degree with 2+ years’ experience.
  • Fluency in German (both written and verbal) is essential.
  • Operational knowledge of one or more of the following core technologies:
  • VMAX
  • Isilon
  • ECS
  • Unity
  • SVC
  • Compellent
  • DFS
  • Netapp
  • Netapp C Dot
  • Customer focus.
  • Good communication, presentation and cross functional skills.
  • Good analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies as required

Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge of VMware products vRO, vRA and vROPS.
  • Scripting \ Programming knowledge an advantage (Java, Python)
  • Awareness of DevOps or Agile an advantage
  • Dell EMC Proven Professional or other Industry Certifications desirable.
  • Understanding of ITIL principles and processes.
