Product Manager, Dell EMC Education Services

General Summary

The Portfolio Management function within Dell EMC Education Services focuses on delivering a world class portfolio of education offerings that meets the needs of internal and external customers, supports Education Services revenue goals and aligns with the strategic direction of Dell EMC.

The Product Manager position is a critical role within Portfolio Management. This role owns and defines the training and certification strategies, offerings and roadmaps that Education Services will be executing against. This role requires flexibility and a lot of cross-functional collaboration to ensure we are delivering the right offerings to our internal and external customers.

You must be highly consultative and collaborative, excel at establishing and developing the right relationships with our stakeholders and supporting teams across the company, and translate these rich discussions into strong training plans and strategies that will help us achieve our goals.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Defines and manages strategy and roadmap of education offerings aligned to business priorities
• Supports and/or drives a consultative engagement with stakeholders to understand and document audience requirements and business justification
• Analyzes requirements and collaboratively determines appropriate education solution, including defined success criteria (audience forecast, business impact, etc.)
• Manages the evolution and continuous improvement of education offers, end-to-end, from inception to retirement, analyzing offer performance and feedback throughout the lifecycle
• Develops/maintains subject matter affinity across product(s) within the portfolio as appropriate
• Participates in cross-functional interlocks to discuss project prioritization, roadblocks, general updates
• Works collaboratively with Instructional Designer when defining education plans to satisfy audience requirements
• Ensures final offering meets audience requirements
• Helps enable Sales teams who sell Dell EMC education offerings
