Job Description

Operations Manager

Alexandria, Egypt

  • Caduceus Lane is hiring an experienced Operations Manager, who will ensure meeting operational, financial, and business targets. The Operations Manager will report directly to the Managing Director.
  • You will be responsible for managing the operational aspects of various internal functions, among other duties.
  • Caduceus Lane is seeking multitasking, process- and quality-oriented candidates, with excellent communication and leadership skills, who are eager to be a part of Caduceus Lane’s ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing key managerial support and direction to all departments
  • Engaging in budget development in close collaboration with the Human Resources Department
  • Analyzing operational issues, as well as preparing and submitting periodic reports to the Managing Director
  • Resource planning and managing external contractors and suppliers of services
  • Supporting the annual business planning process by implementing robust management reporting and information flow systems to enable progress to be monitored against targets and foster a culture of accountability
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of different strategies to ensure the effective recruitment, orientation, retention and continuing development of an engaged and high performing workforce
  • Contributing to the formulation and implementation of policies to ensure best practices across the workplace, as well as strengthening and maintaining the risk management framework, and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in a managerial position
  • Fluency in English language
  • Professional flexibility to meet changing business needs
  • Outstanding time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as problem-solving skills
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Robust conflict management skills
  • Commitment to ethical behavior
  • Good knowledge of employment/ labor laws
  • Budget development and oversight experience
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-graduate degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • BSc/BA in Business administration

Candidate background

  • 10-15 years of experience in a relevant position
  • Healthcare industry background is a plus
