Job Description
We are looking for a Minimum Viable Product champion at the intersection of Business Development, Marketing and Technology to lead our market penetration efforts in Egypt.
General Management:
- Support founder in our overall operations in Egypt - including office management.
- Develop market penetration strategy and lead all required business development and sales initiatives. (Sales Target Driven)
- Assist founder in all recruitment and hiring activities - including the preparation of boot camps, hacker contests, etc...
- Lead coaching and training sessions in collaboration with partners.
Community Management
- Establish and maintain relationships with Egypt’s startup ecosystem.
- Oversee investor relations function and be the first line of contact to Egypt venture capital and Angel investor community.
- Manage Hayya’s marketing and social media channels.
- Represent Hayya in startup contests and programs, and events/exhibitions (Egypt only).
MVP Champion:
- Act as the MVP champion by validating assumptions and testing them in assigned markets/segment (Egypt/Real Estate).
- On-board key identified partners and clients
- Get user feedbacks and coordinate with team members to iterate and implement changes.
- Responsible for analyzing heat maps and the overall customer journey.
Job Requirements
- MBA from top universities preferred, preferably with internship experience with top technology, consulting or audit firms.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, and overall 2+ years of experience preferable in the real estate or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of strategy + ability to utilize relevant strategy development tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in P&L management and financial forecasting.
- Leadership and team management skills
- Familiar with lean startup and agile methodologies
- Project management certifications (i.e six sigma, Agile, etc..) is desirable.
- Strong understanding of designing process flows
- Previous experience in fund-raising is desirable
- Active member of Cairo’s startup ecosystem
- PR & Marketing: Familiar with digital marketing campaign management and tools. In addition to existing influencer network.
- Tech: Familiar with latest technology trends, stacks, system architecture, data models and APIs
- Strong presentation skills (Arabic & English)
- Proficient with PowerPoint, excel and other Microsoft tools
- Strong command of English is a must.
