Job Description
Overview
- This position will involve network security tasks, including Firewall management, IDS/IPS, NG Firewall, WAF, Revers proxy and proxy products, and other IT security products, design security architecture, present and perform POC for Security technologies, respond to RFPs, and Bids, technical writing skills, Security policies and procedures development, good knowledge of ISO 27001 and other international cyber security standards.
- Perform Security assessment to our customers network and Data Center based on their cyber security regulations and requirements. The position required presentable personnel he can conduct presentation and demo and work closely with sales team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to troubleshoot network and security equipment
- Perform tier 2 traffic flows analysis, as well as maintain accurate documentation of firewall and network security support activities and processes.
- Strong ability is required to work independently and remotely when troubleshooting and must also have the ability to solve problems with minimal client input and ability to escalate when solution is not readily apparent.
- Engage vendor for Maintenance Contract Renewals processing when needed.
- Perform specific tasks relating to Presales for IT and Cyber security solutions
- Strong ability to lead team and has a good knowledge of SOC activities and SIEM solutions.
- Investigate security incidents, collect and preserve evidence
- Assess physical security and Data Center security controls
- Create solution design and write up based one customer requirements and RFPs
- Support AOT applications and DB teams related to their security requirements
- Awareness of Linux/Unix and open sources security solutions, such as Iptables, PFsense.
Job Requirements
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ Years of network security experience and at least 2 years SIEM administration.
- Experience in Data Center and physical security controls
- Experience in implementing ISO 27001 Standards
- Flexible to travel outside the country whenever needed.
- Hands-on experience in implementation, provisioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of different flavors of IT Security equipment from different vendors.
- Cross vendor migration/transition experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
- Perfect in technical writing in English and Arabic.
- Bachelor’s degree on computer science/engineering or equivalent High Degree.
- Vendor relations for cutting edge technology identification and vendor-based certifications are preferred.
- Very strong Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet firewall experience.
- Experience with Cisco routers and switches is a plus
- At least one of the following certifications:
o CISSP, SCP
o CCNP, CCNA Security, Cyber Ops.
o ITIL Foundation.
