Job Description

  • Develop and manage a strong Project Management team for custom engineered design build projects.
  • Forecasts project management staffing requirements; schedules and assigns tasks to project management department staff; works with other managers to secure/develop additional internal project management resources as required.
  • Develops department budgets; reports on department spending and allocations.
  • Plans and oversees cross training of internal personnel on tasks including estimating, project planning, contract management and scheduling.
  • Communicates project progress including cost to budget, schedule to budget as well as early risk assessment and mitigation plans to senior management on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Performs cost monitoring and control of all projects, including review and approval of Company purchase orders, monitoring design progress, tracking & supporting problem resolution activities and developing and presenting progress reports relative to the budget, schedule and risk.
  • Reviews and analyzes the contract, statement of work, and all related specifications of all elements of the project to identify and define the entire scope of work to be executed together with the assigned project manager for all incoming projects or major proposals.
  • Provides direct client interface for contract execution and administration, clarification of technical and performance requirements and design review comment resolution. Prepares change variance and project change requests together with assigned Project Managers and Sales.
  • Authorizes work by Work AUTH Docs or Subcontracts, including thoroughly communicating scope of work, budget and schedule to other departments within the Company or to Subcontractors.
  • Develops, monitors and controls project execution schedule, including monitoring of line department and Subcontractor performance to schedule; identifying, analyzing and recommending correction action to eliminate inefficiencies; identifying and clearing roadblocks; and resolving priority conflicts.
  • Utilizes data compiled from financial and parts databases to develop formal reports and presentations on Cost and Schedule Control following Earned Value Management System principles.
  • Member of the Project Design Review Board, responsible for ensuring designs are reviewed and approved with specific regard to technical adequacy and effectiveness and cost and schedule efficiency relative to project requirements and system integration.
  • Provides technical input, technical writing and cost and schedule information to the Sales Department as required in support of proposals.
  • Serves as Company representative at remote site project team meetings and working groups with clients, customers, subcontractors and third party certification representatives.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree of Applied Arts, Architecture Engineering, and Fine Arts
  • Pervious experience at Interior Fit-Out & Finishing Is a MUST
  • +20 years of experience
  • +10 Years at the same title
  • PMP is a must
  • MBA is a plus
