Arabic Translation Scientific Review Team Leader

Job Summary

Nagwa is looking to hire an Arabic Translation Scientific Review Team Leader to oversee the team’s translation and ensure high quality and accuracy of text pedagogically and scientifically.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing the scientific terms used in chemistry, math, and physics contents and ensuring coherence in meaning
• Adjusting the pedagogical level of the translated content to the target audience
• Reviewing the target text and ensuring accuracy and consistency of translation
• Ensuring that the team delivers an accurate content in an efficient and timely manner
• Providing direction and guidance to the team
• Collaborating with other departments for effective completion of required tasks
• Maintaining style consistency and adhering to Nagwa’s in-house style and guidelines
• Coaching the team members and helping them develop themselves for opportunities of promotion
• Reviewing the quality of work and editing or updating materials if required
• Constantly developing the processes and procedures of translation through building glossaries, style guides, and specialized instruction manuals
• Discussing translation quality issues with the team
