Job Description

  • Ensure risk assessments are carried out in line with procedures and are updated regularly as on-going “live” documents
  • Actively demonstrate the company values to all colleagues.
  • Attend weekly operations meeting to ensure consistent flow of communication throughout the Flip Out.
  • Authorise the issue of complimentary tickets or services when resolving guest complaints.
  • Communicate on a continual basis with management team to ensure best practice is achieved across the facility.
  • Monitor proposed and actual changes to current legislation and ensure company compliance (e.g. Health & Safety).
  • Ensure recruitment is appropriate to business operation and continually monitors key indicators (turnover, absence etc)  Perform daily/weekly and monthly maintenance activities.
  • Motivate, manage and develop the team in line with company standards and values including responsibility for the departmental training program.
  • Promote a fun working environment.
  • Apply positive performance management effectively throughout the team and minimize the challenges to the team.
  • Handle face-to-face enquiries and via emails from customers
  • Perform supervisor on duty shifts, open / close the facility and conduct daily huddles.
  • Prepare training lesson plans and conduct weekly/monthly training as all the Flip Out staff need to be trained for 4 hours a month in skills, procedures, health & safety, and product knowledge.
  • Ensure to implement Staff corrective plan/disciplinary procedure when needed and perform/conduct performance appraisals
  • Ability to perform all employee functions and manage process
  • Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed as required.
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
  • Ensure that all customers are receiving the proper jump service according to company standards.
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the Flip Out serving standards.
  • Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and creating a positive, productive working environment.
  • Manage the health and safety of customers and staff at Flip Out Trampoline Park.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations. Supervise and participate in jump areas.
  • Ensure that all the equipment in Café and Reception are kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the facility’s checklist.
  • Ensure all the floor and Archery equipment’s are in sufficient stock at all time and implement proper inventory process.
  • Ensure BMS and POS systems are operating accordantly and find ways to improve the efficiency of the process.
  • Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count, in good condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the Flip Out receiving policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the entire relevant daily/weekly operations checklist is completed.
  • Fully understand and comply with all municipality regulations that related to health, safety facility, employees, and customers.
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Assign tills to cashiers and compile and balance cash receipts at the end of the day/shift.
  • Prepare staff weekly roster
  • Manage staff based on daily business changes while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
  • Organize Archery tournaments and dodge ball tournaments.
  • Must be able to undertake any other duties at the request of the manager which are commensurate with the role.
  • Exceed guest expectations through ensuring Flip Out team deliver to agreed service standards.
  • To create and maintain a safety focused environment throughout the Facility, assisting with the creation and implementation of Flip Out training and auditing procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Requires excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to execute multiple tasks.
  • Strong understanding of the creation and management of risk assessments, SOP’s and EAP’s within a theme park environment.
  • Self-motivated and demonstrated initiative, with strong problem solving skills.
  • History of supporting staff, with demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Must be customer service driven with an understanding of the needs of the guests.
  • Competent in all aspects of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, e-mail, Power Point) are required.
  • Strong administration skills
  • Able to focus and prioritize. Fluent English in both oral and written
  • Excellent understanding on culture awareness and the unique environment
