Job Description
The Alumni Development Coordinator will serve as the critical link between EFE-Egypt and its alumni network, ensuring a high level of job placement and alumni support. The coordinator will be responsible for linking graduates of EFE-Egypt to job placement opportunities. The coordinator works closely with the Communications and Partnerships Manager to build on new and existing employer partnerships, ensuring mutual benefit to EFE-Egypt alumni and employer partners.
Under the direct supervision of the Communications and Partnerships Manager, Alumni Development Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Coordinating recruitment activities that actively generate job opportunities based on pre-determined hiring plans and targets
- Planning and organizing annual career events
- Corresponding with and conducting corporate visits to employers’ recruitment functions and events
- Communicating, advising and referring EFE-Egypt students to potential employers as requested and in compliance with EFE-Egypt standards of job placement opportunities, thereby supporting them in their job search process
- Providing comprehensive information to EFE-Egypt employer partners about EFE-Egypt tailored programs
- Initiating and developing contacts with faculties and other entities to support participant outreach activities
- Posting jobs opportunities and alumni extracurricular activities on EFE-Egypt Mobile Application
- Coordinating between EFE-Egypt alumni who apply via the EFE-Egypt Mobile Application and employer partners
- Designing the monthly development and engagement plans for EFE-Egypt Alumni
- Performing other related duties as requested
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (business administration or public administration preferred)
- HR Diploma/certificate is a plus
- 2-4 years of experience in recruitment services, human resources, or youth training
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic
- Highly reliable and proactive
- Self-motivated and ability to take initiative and work in teams
- Ability to travel for training/meetings when necessary
- Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows and Office)
- Prior experience in event organization is preferred
- Previous community service experience is an asset
