Job Description
- Acting as the first link between the supply chain manager and the supply chain team.
- Assisting the supply chain manager in developing procedures manual for the supply chain department including: inventory track system, purchase orders tracking system and so on.
- Set a time line for all purchase orders and follow up till they are closed.
- Planning delivery timetables.
- Ensuring warehouse has enough stock to avoid any delays
- Tracking ordering depots to make sure that they arrive to their destination department.
- Overseeing orders and categorizing them.
- Distributing orders to the assigned purchasing executive.
- Overseeing the workflow efficiency in the supply chain department
- Assure the quality of services and purchases.
- Assist in negotiation of products pricing.
- Maintains purchasing information, files and records (e.g. Requests for Proposal, purchase orders, vendor files, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Proficient user of Microsoft office
- Bachelor in business, purchasing, commerce or related field.
- High negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
