Job Description

Domain lead is expected to Lead DS e-2-e solution sales & delivery along with Line Management for Lead SAs within the CU and Functional Leadership for Solution Architects assigned to the CU from the Market Area. You will be supporting the KAM/AM & Lead SA with extensive telecom and OSS, Core and Cloud Digital Services business knowledge, driving customer dialogues to grow the business and to maintain solution delivery aligned to the customer relationship. You will have to drive solution definition, design and implementation and overall CU funnel/Engagement Plan/Growth Plans. You are expected to engage the customers with a consultative approach identifying their business needs, areas of improvement and come out with a solution approach to address the above. You are expected to be the prime interface towards MA Solution Area and Business Area Solution Areas ensuring the CU demands for Sales and Delivery are fulfilled for his portfolio of ownership.

Responsibilities

The Domain Lead shall work within a given solutions sales objectives and be responsible to drive, plan and manage pro-active and re-active sales engagement in the CU together with the KAMs organization, CU DS Head, market Area Domain Leaders, other MMEA DS functions whenever applicable. You are expected to drive Systems Integrations, complementary solutions/services partners and MMEA Partnering/Sourcing needs for your CU within DS space.

In performing your duties, the following are desired:

  • Effectively lead and manage the assigned e-2-e Sales & delivery functions to achieve CU DS business goals.
  • Accountable & Responsible for DS Solutions/Products Sales & Delivery within CU
  • Contribute to Sales and Delivery and assume CSR role or Lead Solution Architect within Sales & Delivery Life Cycle of strategic projects/programs whenever requested by CU DS Head
  • Technical Solutions Leadership and Management
  • Drive business strategy creation and implementation for e-2-e Solutions Sales & delivery Program for CU Customers
  • Develop and support Lead Solution Architects across the CU OCC Domain.
  • Define and manage the e-2-e Solutions offerings, including standard Ericsson DS Portfolio and qualified 3PP solutions/services partners.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation & information sharing
  • Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas & share information about solution to enable customer competence build
  • Team with the KAM/AM organization to identify, plan and manage sales engagements for qualified key opportunities for assigned domains.
  • Lead respective Domain and Technology Integration Solution Architects within Sales and Delivery cycles for the CU
  • Create and secure quality customer proposals including technical and project costing and pricing for SDP2 during assigned sales engagements, handover during SDP-3 and manages quality project deliveries by the DS unit between SDP-3 and SDP-4.
  • Customer Escalation point for Solution respective manners within KA

People Management

  • Effectively lead and manage an assigned Solution Architecture team to support e-2-e program sales and delivery engagements from within the CU or MA
  • Develop/Coach and support the DS Domain teams towards a pro-active and high-performing program sales & delivery culture through a strong focus on customers, performance measures, best-practices, innovation, quality and knowledge-sharing.
  • Foster an environment in the team that embraces teamwork, innovation and knowledge-sharing/reuse through effective execution of solution sales training, mentorship and cross-collaborations.

Interfaces

  • Customers on Senior Management level (and other customer delivery representatives as well as Buying center)
  • The Key Account Managers and Account teams

Job Requirements

Expected in depth knowledge about the following

  • DS Roadmaps and Strategy
  • Core & Cloud Transformation programs
  • OSS, Network Management and Fault Management experience
  • PS, CS, IMS and UDC Core Evolution Plans
  • DS NFV/Cloud Transformation Programs
  • Orchestration & Cloud Evolution Methodologies
  • Business Process Consulting
  • Other applications that fall within the DS landscape of an operator

Qualifications

  • Minimum B.Sc. Degree in related disciplines with 10 or more years of relevant experience in telecom/IT information systems consulting, pre-sales and solution implementations.
  • Strong People Leadership skills
  • Excellent technical knowledge of telecom concept, processes and solutions. Good understanding of service provider’s business and information systems.
  • Proven experience in leading consulting, pre-sales and solutions implementation of end2end telecom business solutions.
  • Sales Process understanding and ability to manage complex DS Project sales/delivery engagements and partner solutions qualifications and management.
  • Consultative behavior, business-driven and self-motivated.
  • Excellent Customer management skills.
  • Fluent in written and oral English communications.
  • Computer and business software tools (MS Office, WBS, ECP, Verdi, and CAST and Project Sales Toolbox).
