Job Description
- Selection and management of qualified third-party suppliers (Translators, DTP, Engineers) to consistently meet the company’s business requirements
- Vendor recruitment and maintenance.
- Vendor rate negotiation and management.
- Vendor performance tracking and QA management.
- Vendor KPI management and reporting.
- Support Production team to resource projects.
- Resourcing and maintenance of client / account specific approved vendor lists.
- Comply with Companies Quality Management System relating to Vendor Management.
- Actively seeking out new vendors to build our database or fill missing language pair needs.
- Creating and supplying translation sample tests to be evaluated for potential new vendors.
- Working closely with Project Managers to allocate projects.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date administrative tasks.
Job Requirements
- 2 years or more relevant VM experience
- Ability to clearly and accurately plan, record and summarize project information.
- Experienced in and have strong vendor relationship management skills.
- Third level degree, preferably in Software Localisation, Translation, Business or related discipline.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in English “Fluent”.
- Persistent and results-oriented.
