Job Description
- Support the pens and plastic manufacturing processes to ensure production is as per plan;
- Optimize resources to ensure that minimal waste and a maximum output of machinery is achieved;
- Work towards developing and improving skills of all employees within the department;
- Provide technical assistance where necessary;
- Assist in the introduction of LEAN initiatives and improve OEE;
- Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations
- Promote and maintain open communication, including interaction with other departments; providing support to enable the timely achievement of objectives;
- Support and strengthen the production quality initiatives
- Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
- Responsibility for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
- Ensure that adherence to company regulations, hygiene standards and Health and Safety policies.
Job Requirements
- Preferably bachelor's degree Engineering
- Experience not less than 15 years Preferred in Plastics injection processes .
- Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity
- The ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as as a group.
- Be actively involved in identifying machine improvements and managing shop floor staff;
- Be capable of taking a “hands-on” approach to identify and provide solutions, ensuring the plant; personnel and machinery remain efficient;
