Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and passionate physics graduate to join a new initiative aiming to establish a center that pursues research in theoretical quantum physics and communicates advanced concepts in physics and the latest findings in global quantum research in Arabic to the public. He has to have a great enthusiasm about doing physics research and a lot of interesting questions and problems he needs to investigate.
Research themes may include: quantum information and quantum computing; quantum foundations; theoretical condensed matter.
Responsibilities
- Perform high quality theoretical physics research that will include numerical simulation.
- Write Arabic articles and posts to communicate advanced physics concepts to the public.
- Maintain a facebook page and a website about quantum physics.
- Organize physics seminars and public lectures.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor or (preferred) Masters degree in physics.
- Excellent academic record and very good knowledge of quantum mechanics
- Knowledge of a programming language for doing numerical simulation such as C++, Fortran, Python, or even Mathematica/Matlab!
- Preferred research experience in any topic in theoretical physics.
- Excellent written English skills.
- An inquisitive mind.
