The Field Sales Engineer position at Smart Integrators is focused on selling our products/services to a targeted group of identified customers. This is accomplished primarily through serving the customer as a ‘trusted advisor’, strategic account planning and medium to long-term account goals.
The clear objectives of this role include meeting quarterly results (quota) and delivering feedback to the organization to improve alignment with key accounts. To accomplish this, the salesperson must be able to prioritize opportunities within their account portfolio as well as within each assigned account, while also building relationships of trust at multiple levels within an account and developing a clear understanding of a client’s business needs. Then, using solution-selling techniques, the Field Sales Engineer, will assist their customer in understanding the business impact of implementing our solutions.
