Job Description
We are a fun catering company that rents chocolate/cheese fountains, ice cream, popcorn, cotton candy, waffles, and mini-bite food to all types of events such as corporate, weddings, birthdays, nurseries, schools, family-gatherings, openings, and more.
Your calls/emailing/sheets/documents will all be made from your home, no workplace every day visiting is required!
We are advancing very fast in the market and would like the luckiest of persons to join our team, as the first business development staff ever, with a big potential of being in a greater position over-time.
We expect the following from you:
1) Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify new sales leads.
- Pitching our products/services.
- Maintaining relationships with existing customers.
- Finding opportunities, and business ideas.
2) Day-to-day duties (generating leads):
- Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads, and potential markets.
- Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing.
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set-up meetings.
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Minimum target daily calls, weekly meetings, and monthly sale-leads.
3) Preparing sales display, brochures, and business material:
- Preparing PowerPoint presentation/sales displays.
- Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company's products.
- Developing quotes and proposals.
- Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person.
Job Requirements
You as an individual:
- Socially Adept.
- Good with numbers.
- Able to lead other sales-persons.
- Creative, and know how to further progress a business.
- A car is optional but will benefit your own transportation expenses.
Your skills:
- Strong communication, and IT fluency.
- Creative talents, and the ability to solve tough problems.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events.
- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines/target goals.
- Skill in prioritizing tasks.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organisation.
