Job Description
We are looking for a full time experienced front-end developer.
Basic Job Requirements:
- Write and maintain scalable, efficient front‐end code for all our products (themes, plugins, tools)
- Provide expertise with development fellows through code reviews and other knowledge sharing approaches
- Collaborate with the engineers (both from the development and customer support teams) to build and ship solid products
- Work with design and engineering team members to build features from concept through implementation
- Help handle support requests from customers
- Engage with our community by writing blog posts and tweeting.
Job Requirements
Your Skills:
- 3+ years of professional front-end development experience.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript standards and best‐practices
- Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS, LESS, or Stylus
- Experience working with version control systems like Git or SVN
- Strong understanding of designing experiences that people can access from any device: desktop, tablet, phone
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the WordPress ecosystem.
- Ability to debug compatibility issues across browsers and devices.
- Great problem‐solving abilities and a strong sense of ownership
- Ambition, eagerness and the will to learn and improve upon your skills
