About the Job

Responsibilities:

  • Help define, manage and execute individual product strategies and roadmaps, while managing the portfolio of Workforce Now offerings. Partner with product leaders in Workforce Now and across ADP's business stakeholders and development teams.
  • Define the vision for the end-to-end customer experience journey from sign-up, setup, to use, contextual and in-product help, partnering with our content, product management and experience design teams. For both web and mobile experiences.
  • Identify and work with Business Development stakeholders to broaden or enhance a product portfolio.
  • Establish and help manage multiple product roadmap(s) and help show the cross product (portfolio) roadmap launching through the Workforce Now platform. Drive visibility to trade-offs among priorities, strategic bets and other considerations as applicable.
  • Lead a team through rapid, data driven iterations focused on customer and stakeholder outcomes
  • Provide executive leadership support as needed through product presentations, executive engagements and other means.
  • Lead the vision and creation of highly targeted/personalized content and self-service experiences
  • Measure product(s) effectiveness, identify trends, report outcomes and drive priorities to improve
  • Mentor and serve as the single point of contact for your product teams, helping re-establish and maintain strong partnerships with key partners across ADP
  • Clearly can articulate the vision, strategies, priorities and desired outcomes with key partners across ADP
  • Leverage usability studies, business and product usage data, external industry trends, and metrics to generate insights
Job Requirements

Qualification Required :

  • Prefer expertise in at least 1 domain of Human Capital Management, preferably payroll & or Time & Labor Management reporting
  • 6-12+ years' experience leading and managing agile design driven, user-centered product development teams
  • 6+ years with web/mobile-based service product management experiences, in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
  • 6+ years thinking creatively, showing passion and ability to identify and deliver new product innovation.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively across functions with the ability to gain shared vision on challenging decisions and priority trade-offs.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical issues simply and convincingly to drive fast decisions
  • Patience and commitment, with proven ability to navigate complex environments though product expertise and leadership.
  • Passion and dedication to delivering great outcomes through an awesome customer experience
  • Experience researching relevant industry trends, usage analytics, competitive pressures and applying to product strategy & roadmap
  • Strong analytical orientation and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to create a clear, concise presentation of findings, and effectively present to any level of the organization

People Leadership -

  • 6+ years' experience managing application development teams, or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Must possess adept supervisory and interpersonal skills for motivating and developing employees, be a goal-oriented team builder and collaborator who creates enthusiasm, fosters openness to new ideas and works cooperatively with others.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to lead a team of strong personalities.
  • Open-minded with skilled team orientation and able to listen to and make maximum use of other people's ideas.

Technology Leadership

  • Must have thorough understanding of Web tools, utilities, platforms, technology and trends. Innovative and able to influence the roadmap.
  • Experience in all phases of managing defining, designing, implementing, testing, delivering, supporting and improving application software systems. Prefer experience with Java, MVC, IOC, etc.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript-based languages (React, AngularJS, NodeJS, etc).
  • Understanding of continuous integration/continuous, SonarQube, etc.).
  • Understanding of the testing pyramid (unit, functional, integration, system, API testing) and testing approaches TDD, BDD and with strong emphasis for Quality in an Agile environment is a plus. Understanding of Web & Cloud technologies, AWS, including application hosting and support.
  • Market Leadership - Awareness of general and specific product features that improve market acceptance.
  • Agile Team Development - Leading development teams and coaching Agile / Scrum. Experience implementing, improving or working within process-based software development environments.
  • Understands and supports principles of process management.
  • Change Management - Flexible in adjusting to changes to goals and priorities. Able to determine and work to priorities according to company requirements.
