Job Description
Main Job Duties:
- Manage & develop suppliers performance metrics, to provide feedback or to discuss production forecasts or changes.
- Monitor forecasts to identify changes to determine how they could affect supply chain activities., Negotiate prices & terms with suppliers vendors or freight forwarders.
- Review global ,national ,or regional transportation or logistics reports to improve efficiency, Work with supply chain planners to forecast demand to create the supply plan that ensure materials & products are available on time.
- ensure that the goods are complied with the environmental certification standards.
- Manage & develop activities related to purchasing, material planning, and inventory control, warehousing & receiving.
- Ensuring the adequate supply of all required materials, components, & equipment.
- Delivering cost savings for the company, and Managing commodity cost initiatives.
- Preparing high quality tender documentation and Regularly contacting suppliers to renegotiate prices.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics .
- preferred purchasing experience or equivalent experience in a supervisory role.
- Oracle experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively & efficiently in a high volume, fast pace environment.
- Demonstrated organization skills/ability to keep exact and detailed records.
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team-based environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary for building relationships, keeping others pro-actively informed.
