Job Description
- Take leadership of BIM model (Revit) coordination and updates based upon input from contractors, engineers, and architects.
- Additional responsibilities will include general project engineering responsibilities to assist the technical Manager
- Oversee daily model management, administration and maintenance
- Communicate with engineers, architects and/or clients to deliver and convert submitted drawings which will be used by all disciplines.
- Produce drawings consistent with instructions, guidelines and BIM standards.
- Perform BIM compliance checks of deliverable.
- Prepare files and/or disks containing selected drawings as needed.
- Provide all other engineering & design support tasks including but not limited to: processing shop drawing, comments and computer-aided drafting & design.
- Special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in computer assisted drafting and design.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit is a Must.
- Associates Degree or greater in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
- Very Good command of English Language
- Profound knowledge of the BIM process as it pertains to collaboration and coordination between disciplines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and experienced enough to see the big picture
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
