Job Description
Job Summary
- Nagwa is looking to hire a motivated individual who will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing programs and code debugging and tracing while developing new software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code using Python programming language for different purposes
- Generating educational content (e.g., creating illustrative videos)
- Automating certain functions to facilitate some jobs in Nagwa
- Modifying and dealing with different text and media format types to be able to either edit or extract data from them
- Maintaining scripts that were written to generate mathematical questions
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Good command of the English language
- Familiarity with Python scientific and visualization libraries (NumPy, SymPy, OpenCV, pandas, matplotlib, etc.)
- Fair knowledge of OOP in terms of concepts, techniques, principles, analysis, and design
- Familiarity with TeX, XML, JSON, and SVG
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
