As a Supply Chain Planning Associate Planner you will be mainly responsible for managing deployment planning in the plants and Distribution Centers (DCs) in an effective & economic basis to achieve the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets, through the following:

  • Responsible for Pepsi Cola Egypt (PCE) fleet management for both company owned trucks and 3rd party contracted trucks.
  • Responsible for finished products deployment planning.
  • Responsible for the raw materials and bottles and crates transfers execution.
  • Responsible for managing a team of 2 Deployment Planners.
  • Responsible for the development of the daily shipment plan based on the forecasted sales volume to meet AOP objectives through daily communication with the Production planning, plants and DC's managers taking into consideration the available stocks in all DCs and plants in addition to expected production plans.
  • Monitors the daily process of distribution and scheduling for all PCE Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) starting from initiating the distribution plan and till follow-up the delivery of the product to the distribution centers, considering lead times transit quantities and DC's storage capacity.
  • Responsible for the raw materials transfers execution between plants’ hubs and production plants in alignment with the MRP, production and plants teams.
  • Responsible for the bottles and crates transfers execution from the suppliers’ sites to the company warehouses/plants.
  • Team up with sourcing team in preparing Strategic-Plan (3-year) and AOP (1-year) deployment budgets as per the AOP sales volumes expected for the following years.
  • Responsible for the periodic review of the sourcing matrix in coordination with production and DCs teams.
  • Work closely with logistics team to make sure deployment plans are timely executed to meet the target of product availability.
  • Come up with ideas or solutions to achieve cost optimization (lowest cost with the highest level of service) with the Production Planning Manager & Logistics manager to ensure deployment plan is implemented without any drawbacks in related areas.

Job Requirements

ou should be demonstrating the following Qualifications / Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is required preferably in Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain.
  • Previous deployment experience with good knowledge of Beverage Industry is preferable.
  • Enterprise Resource Planning is a plus (ERP).
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Office package is required.
  • Good Problem Solving, Analytical skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Results oriented.
  • Strong command for both Arabic & English Languages.
