Job Description
- Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and future planning needs of the company’s desktop environment.
- Collaborate with existing vendors to evaluate the new technology that is available and make recommendations to management on using that technology.
- Ensure that network expansion projects are in line with the company’s plans.
- Monitor the performance of the company’s desktop infrastructure and make suggestions for improving efficiency.
- Evaluate applications and software patches for desktop applications to see if they will solve desktop issues.
- Actively participate in adherence to and improvement of the Company Management System on Quality and HSE related issues.
Job Requirements
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. Level or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or similar field.
- Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification
- At least 3 years of experience in industry
- English language
- Proven working experience in a similar role or relevant experience
- Good knowledge in SharePoint and software development
- Demonstrated ability in desktop and systems design
- Proven ability to offer high level desktop support in an enterprise environment
