Job Description
- Responsible for deploying and operating Oracle DBs within the company environment.
- Perform regular day-to-day database operations.
- Coordinate and manage database activities to support the application team.
- Manage data exporting and importing across database systems.
- Prepare documentation of all database procedures and guidelines.
- Monitor database activities on a daily basis to ensure the reliability and security of databases.
- Establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security;
- Ensure that the database is properly tested and bugs/ Security Patches are fixed appropriately.
- Assist in optimizing the database for operational and performance efficiency.
- Assist in database management, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Responsible for application and database cloning for Oracle DB and Oracle Applications
- Participate in disaster recovery activities
- Ability to handle all Linux Oracle OS environments in terms of setup, maintenance, and upgrades.
Job Requirements
- At least 3+ years in systems engineering.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or any field
- Strong Technical Experience in Oracle DB (18c)
- Oracle DB patching, cloning, and upgrades
- Deep Knowledge of Working Linux/Unix.
- Experience in WebLogic Administration, tuning, and patching will be an added value.
- Fair Knowledge of Network Architecture and Storage Area Networks.
- Experience in PCI Compliance is preferred.
- Performance Tuning on the OS., App., & DB
- Experience handling DRS & BCP is preferred
