Senior Mathematics Translator

Job Summary

Nagwa is looking to hire a talented person with passion, calibers, and an extensive experience in translation of mathematical educational content to be responsible for translating mathematical transcripts from English into Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the English source transcript and rendering it correctly into Arabic with the appropriate style for the target audience
• Maintaining the intellectual and structural content of the source language in the target language
• Utilizing specialized dictionaries, thesauruses, and online sources to determine the most accurate translation of mathematical terms
• Adhering to Nagwa’s in-house translation style guide and following instructions given by reviewers
• Ensuring that the translated content is up to standard through sufficient research, reviewer consultation, and good revision
• Maintaining ethical codes and keeping information confidential
• Ensuring delivery of high-quality while meeting deadlines
• Ensuring the suitability of the text mathematically and pedagogically
