The BPA Manager is responsible for developing and using financial early warning forecast systems for the Cluster.
This role provides financial and budgetary forecasts for the Cluster to Global officers for use in short and long-term company financial and budgetary planning, ensuring reporting system interoperability and data integrity.

Job Purpose

  • The purpose of the BPA Manager role is to work in Oncology Finance team which covers the EMTL Cluster, consisting of 4 legal entities Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia & Libya. The role is based in Cairo / Egypt.
  • The role covers the full cluster and some travelling is needed to provide face time with the customers.
  • There is a high level of interaction with associates across functions and countries and good communication skills are essential.
  • The BPA is responsible for managing the process of sales and profit targets achievement by creating transparency / risk assessment, ensuring no surprises, under his/her area of responsibility.
  • The role organizes the Planning, Control and Deviation Analysis process across the relevant business functions.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Consolidation of EMTL (Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Libya) financial tracking tools (four countries).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Morocco and Tunisia to ensure alignment on financial performance on a monthly basis for both countries separately.
  • Align and coordinate between commercial and supply chain team to ensure sustainability of goods supply for Tunisia and Morocco.
  • Proactively carry out value-added analyses on financial data, supporting and testing information provided by Global and Regional financial officers.
  • Perform the monthly reporting process for the four EMTL countries on the financial systems. (Example; LO, PVM, Headcount report, etc.)
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy between different financial reporting systems for EMTL countries.
  • Proactively align with the cluster Finance Head on financial performance accuracy.
  • Collaborate with financial control personnel to ensure consistent financial data reporting processes and results for Morocco and Tunisia.
  • Assist with the development of detailed budget and financial forecasts at the EMTL level (Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Libya).
  • Drive continuous learning within the EMTL cluster by performing post-implementation financial analyses on past initiatives and sharing results across the organization
  • Key interfaces include Cluster Finance Head; Cluster GM; FRA/financial control personnel.
  • Ensures P&L optimization by brand (optimize resource allocation).
  • Financial Business Partner of all activities having a financial impact including assessments of significant investments.
  • Proactively carries out value-added analyses on financial data.
  • Supports strategic and operational planning processes including the Cx process and assists relevant franchise/business functions in the formulation of their financial plans to ensure full transparency on key business issues and drivers.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in the field of finance or accounting.

Language:

  • Fluent in English & Local Language.
  • French (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience on finance and /or accounting (preferable in pharmaceutical industry)
  • Budget management and preparation of financial forecasts
  • Excellent analytical ability
  • Business partnering experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to clearly present financial data in reports distributed. - Good inter-personal skills.
  • Solid Software skills (Microsoft office, in particular Excel).
  • Experience with ERP system (SAP, Local BPC, IBI)
  • Pharma or FMCG industry experience preferred
