Job Description
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
- Investigate project variances and submit variance reports to management
- Confer with receivables staff regarding unpaid contract billings
- Report to management regarding the remaining funding available for projects
- Preparation of cost control reports using Excel in accordance with cost document and identifying divisions between planned cost and actual cost and reasons of it
- Prepare project cost estimate of resources and other expenses through discussions with functional leaders in a timely manner using generic cost structure, which is suitable for cost tracking in the project life cycle.
- Assist Project Planner in entering the cost estimate in the project plans in Primavera or other Project Management tools, as required.
- Revise project cost estimate at the end of every reporting period to generate ‘Forecast at Completion’.
- Responsible for the site expenses.
- Provide the needs of sites for raw materials, tools and equipment.
- Review the circulation of the labor of the site and the exchange of diaries
- Review contractors payment invoices
- Pay salaries of the project team as per payroll sheet received from management
- Review and approve timesheets for work related to a project
- Report to management regarding the remaining funding available for projects
- Respond to requests for more detail from Project Manager
- Close out project accounts upon project completion
- Organize work regulations inside the site.
- Following up with warehouse inside the site.
- Responsible for both the inventory and disbursement of the site.
- Prepare financial reports, as may be required.
- Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
- Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
Job Requirements
- This position is required for one of the well-known Construction company in Egypt.
- BCs of accounting degree.
- Experience in Contracting is a MUST
- Good English skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Good knowledge and experience in buying materials and supplies.
- Excellent in English language.
- Excellent in MS Office.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Capability to multitask in a fast paced environment
