Job Description
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
- Developing quotes and proposals
- Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
- To keep healthy relationships with clients, this mostly requires socialization.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Job Requirements
Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in the same field.
Education:
- A bachelor degree in business or any related field, but a proven background in business development may be sufficient
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Office and associated programs, internet, telephone systems.
Languages:
- Fluent English
Competencies:
- Strong research and strategic analysis skills,
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be able to cold call potential clients with confidence
