Job Description
- Responsible for material planning and purchase of direct materials .
- Monitor inventory levels, and track the market for changes that may affect the availability or price of supplies.
- Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery, approve new suppliers and authorize purchase orders for goods and services.
- Ensure that all materials are received in a timely manner.
- Follow-up on purchase orders to ensure that scheduled delivery dates are met.
