Job Description

Medical Representatives are the key link between the brand and the medical, pharmaceutical & healthcare professionals.

They understand customers’ needs and recommend products & treatments to support their objectives in achieving patients' satisfaction.

With their medical knowledge and commercial sense, they develop the brand and achieve business growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, driving sales and identifying new business opportunities.

Due to expansion, Genesis is hiring Medical representatives in all governorates with the following criteria:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit doctors to introduce the brand with medical detailing and provide supporting technical / scientific documentation to encourage prescriptions.
  • Build and drive trustworthy working relationships with customers.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets, qualitative and quantitative objectives set by the sales manager.
  • Forecast sales target and potential growth per account and put the right action plan to achieve estimated results.
  • Monitor sell-out and brand activity through feedback from pharmacists.
  • Ensure a healthy stock level in pharmacies and accurate replenishment.
  • Monitor competitors and market activities to identify business gaps and opportunities.
  • Find new business opportunities and introduce the brand in new accounts in line with the brand image and strategy.
  • Represent the brand at professional medical events to raise brand awareness and recruit new customers.
  • Set a weekly visit plan to ensure optimum coverage in the assigned area and report daily on the visits outcomes and feedback.
  • Attend regular meetings and align with marketing & sales teams on business priorities and new launches.

Job Requirements

Education/ Qualification

  • Scientific background: Bachelor degree in Pharmacy, Vet, or Science.
  • Preferred experience: 0-3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales.
