Job Description
The job holder will be responsible for the below tasks:
- Aging AP reports.
- Arrange and post all prepaid and accruals and other journal entry related to monthly financial closing
- Make sure that all transaction are recorded according to IFRS.
- Following up on payments with vendors.
- Maintaining up to the date accounts payable system.
- Updating and maintaining records of expenditures.
- Ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with company policy.
- Reconcile accounts payable transaction.
- Preparing weekly reports and control purchasing.
- Pays invoices by verifying transaction information, scheduling and preparing disbursements.
- Process trade vendor invoices and service provider invoices for goods, insurance, travel, accommodation, freight, customs, inventory by entering them into the ERP.
- Monitor suppliers account details for terms of payment, credit terms and others.
- Enter all service provider invoices into the ERP after checking and following(3-way matching).
- Make monthly reconciliation of vendors accounts immediately notifying any variances to the vendor.
- Review import documents and ensure docs are approved and sent to the banks on time.
- Handle full spectrum of accounting role
- Perform month-end accounting functions, end with trail balance coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role you should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3 years of experience as a Senior Accountant.
- Experience with audit firm is a solid plus.
- Experienced in ERP (SAP).
- Understanding FMCG.
- Interpersonal skills; team player, effective communication, sound reasoning skills.
- Male candidates are preferable.
