Job Description
As a Storage Engineer, you will help maintain data integrity, as well as help improve the company's storage infrastructure. In this position, you can work remotely or in one of our offices in Phoenix and Dallas.
You will:
- Configure and manage CEPH clusters as well as RBD and RADOSGW services
- Be responsible for data storage systems (RADOS, RBD, GlusterFS)
- Work closely with our SysOps/DevOps teams to manage, develop and maintain our cloud infrastructure
- Work within our SLA (15 minutes answer, 60 minutes for a solution or update)
- Maintain communication and work with the teams from different projects
- Introduce new storage systems to the ServerHub infrastructure
- Learn ServerHub systems and adapt to fast changes
Job Requirements
You must have:
- Previous experience deploying and operating massive storage solutions using Ceph
- Excellent knowledge of technology and Linux systems
- Understanding network technologies (TCP / IP, Routing, CIDR)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience in identical conditions
- Higher education and / or experience of 3 years
- Experience writing documentation (Wiki, Confluence)
- You have a passion for technology.
