Job Description

  • Provides HSE leadership, training and operational support to all levels of the organization and across all functional groups.
  • Support the safety manager to install programs and polices.
  • Ensure that safety inspections are carried out consistently; this includes inspecting firefighting systems, workflow and procedures, and developing the related risk assessments.
  • Inspect and monitoring the firefighting devises and make sure its applicant with the safety procedures.
  • Track the chemical operation and identify the hazards.
  • Ensures emergency response systems, policies and procedures are in place to manage emergency situations.
  • Assists in all aspects of incident investigation including verifying root cause and approving the implementation of preventative actions
  • Prepare and keep all related documents and files concerning labor offices and governmental inspection.
  • Make an agreement with measurement center to perform environmental measures inside the factory such as noise level, temperature level and gazes.
  • Participate in monthly meetings when required to report on relevant health & safety matters.
  • Establish the Safety Committee and supervise its periodic meetings and ensure that all agreed action points are completed within deadlines.
  • Monitor the periodic measurement and sampling from different locations of the environment at regular intervals for activities that have an impact on the work environment (air - water - noise) and analysis and take the necessary action in case of violation.
  • The creation and preservation of documents and the activities of the special safety records and occupational health procedures and ensure maintain updated is also responsible for the inspection of the tools and fire extinguishing equipment and protection of the environment on a regular basis and regularly and ensure their validity at all times.
  • Contributes and selects the appropriate sources of supply safety equipment and means of environmental protection and fire extinguishing tools through close cooperation with the relevant departments of directors of the company.
  • Lead the risk assessment (RA) , Job Safe Analysis (JSA) for site.
  • Responsible for the civil defense system and fire alarm and to ensure its effectiveness and suitability
  • Participate with all departments and departments to improve performance and reduce risks
  • Establishing training programs related to the hazards in the various sites as well as updating them periodically and making sure that the safety officials in the various sites implement these exercises in order to raise awareness for all workers in the various sites.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science any relative practical knowledge or Engineering is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of safety and OH&S regulations required.
  • 6-8 years of professional experience in industrial OH&S program management in a manufacturing environment, previous experience in painting or chemicals industry is very strong plus.
  • Working knowledge of firefighting systems and chemical hazards.
  • Apple to work under pressure and take challenges.
  • Knowledge of ISO certification process.
  • Excellent level of using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook),
  • Able to promote the safety culture among company staff.
