Job Description
- Receive raw material allocation from MRP, Revise material competency with sales order requirement and lines capability
- Convert planned orders to production orders for each step and create manual sequent production orders serif required
- Keep updated with production lines capabilities and technical specifications
- Daily base work to plan, schedule and control production orders based on MRP time-phased requirements that provide the lead-time offset, quantity, and dates to meet customer demand
- Inventory management to maintaining proper inventory levels/turns and disposition of excess inventory in a timely manner, and review the WIP of the plans with the actual orders WIP in stock
- Communicate production schedule with production departments. Clarify any open questions regarding the schedule
- Monitor and evaluate production statistics, such as downtime, productivity, etc. and advise on performance to standards.
- Evaluate established time standards in relation to actual performance and recommend action as needed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Preferred
- APICS Certification Preferred
